Why can't you keep your RV question going and pursue the new lead?  Use FoS, bold, underline, whatever- you can still grill someone without voting them.  Dropping attacks without even acknowledging that is scummy, pure and simple.
Why do you keep going on about me dropping my RVS question?  I don't care about my own RVS questions.  I ask them out of respect for tradition, and because it helps get conversation flowing.  Once people start talking and tells start dropping, I move to whomever I find most suspicious.  I'm not dropping an attack because there never was one in the first place.

Hmph.  I simply can't agree with you there.

Quote
Your attack wasn't lazy- your lack of attack was.  You're giving off a strong aura that you can't be bothered to scumhunt, and are only paying lipservice to it so you're not obvscum.  Compounding this, you move to attack people for the same reason- weak participation.  It's a valid attack, but it has no bite when you're guilty of it yourself.
What lack of attack?  I called out JetSquirrel in the very post you quoted.  Yes, the grammar of the attack was passive, which is what I thought you meant by lazy, but that's because Jim had already attacked him for it.  I've already said that I'm reluctant to repeat the attacks of others because I consider it a form of bandwagoning.  The only reason I mentioned it at all is because Jim had asked me why I wasn't attacking Jet at the time, and not mentioning it would've been wierd.

You called him out and that was it.  You didn't actually question him on his lack of assist until your next post, after Jim calls you out on it.  You're basically saying "I think he's suspicious but I'm just going to let him slide for now!"  Do you not see the scumminess in that?

Assists:  If Otto or Leaf either feel inclined to participate, I might feel inclined to assist one of them.

Ottofar hasn't posted in 3 days (granted, he hasn't posted anywhere on the forums in that time) and Leafsnail in 5 (and he's posted *86* times in other threads).

Mephansteras, I don't recall if they've been prodded, but could you possibly prod them again?  And possibly replace them if they don't come play the game...

IronyOwl, you replaced in and promptly disappeared.  Care to share your thoughts on Ottofar and Leafsnail?

Can you prod them with something sharper?  :)

It might be worthwhile to just assist Ottofar, at this point.

Why Ottofar?

(I happen to agree with you in this instance, but I want to know your reason first.)

Ottofar has disappeared for three days and has little experience.  He has not been posting anywhere.

Leafsnail has disappeared for five days and has lots of experience.  He has been posting elsewhere.

On the scum-o-meter, Leafsnail >>> Ottofar.

I can sortof see a justification for a policy lynch, but I don't see how it's a scumtell when you're under attack.  I mean, if you're avoiding attention, it is.  But if you're getting into trouble anyway, it's more of an "I don't care so much about mafia atm".

Anyway, to summarise cases people had for voting me (other than lurking, which I'd say is null):

JTF - Disliked meta on Org.  Attacked both tower mages, which apparently makes me scum because noone else would've killed Jim Groovester?
Vector - Apparently, I feel "off".  And... that's it.  "Lurking" too, but Vector knows this isn't scumtell.
Solifuge - WIFOM questions, never unvoted or did anything else for that matter.

I'd like to point out we have 3 people who did nothing except vote 2 lurkers and act passive.  That doesn't exactly scream town.

I don't really have any reason you should lynch Ottofar over me, and I kindof deserve it.  However, make sure those who decided to go for the two easiest targets don't get a free ride when I flip tower.

@Leafsnail: Sorry, I had to take a flying guess--I came home, realized I hadn't voted, and threw the votes on.  No time for lengthy analysis.

Do you think Ottofar is tower or scum?

I missed it the first time, but whoever asked (Jokerman?) was correct that Jim was going after Leafsnail and Ottofar as well.

Leafsnail's lurking is pretty indefensible, but when he did show up it seemed awfully aggressive. Even though a lot of it was defending those I consider scum and attacking people we now know are town, I'm getting a town vibe from him. It seemed too bold and too late in the day to be a chainsaw defense of his cabal buddies.

Jim did tell Ottofar he was useless and would be lynched something like three times, however. Combined with the tower feel off Leafsnail, at this point I'm considering which assist to use, not who to use it on. There's also the fact that if Leafsnail bothers to play, he'll probably be more useful than Ottofar.

Sorry, our computer didn't like the thunder of the night three days ago.

To answer them questions:
Anyway, Leafsnail and Ottofar; why do you think Jim Groovester was targetted by the Cabal, instead of anyone else?
He was going to vote for me, as he stated multiple times, and I was already being suspected.

Ottofar, Janus - Exactly why did you stack buffs with Leafsnail?
Stacking buffs, as I recall, more powerful than boosting every area independently. And I thought Solifuge was less scum than Org.

What are you saying here? It feels like you're throwing out WIFOM. Are those the only reasons you can think of?

Yeah, it's kinda WIFOM-esque, but yeah, pretty much. And that Jim has experience.

Why?
I dislike people saying things like this. And I recall someone(webadict?) ranting over this stuff in some game.
