Has this project been forgotten about or abandoned entirely?

Personally, I thought it made perfect sense to use Captain Mayday's VBASE mod-kit as a basis for mod projects to add more creatures. It seems more efficient.

Also, I would imagine that - at least in some cases - all these independent modders creating new creatures might be re-inventing the wheel. Wouldn't it be more efficient for folks to work together on a common add more creatures project?
