About once every four or five hours until they're a couple of months old, then you might stretch it out to six or seven hours...

Oh!  In DF...  Magma works.  So does that goblinite mining pit, if you're particularly cruel dwarfy.

You can also cause babies to attack their parents without being insane first via Loyalty Cascade. Makes for some entertaining combat logs.

Elaborate on these Loyalty Cascades you speak of.

Basically, every unit has two loyalties. One to the fort and one to the parent civ, which are two seperate entities. Imagine what happens if someone becomes an enemy of the fort but still loyal to the civ, while the military are still loyal to both. The soldiers, seeing the enemy of the fort, go to kill them, but because of standard dwarf civ ethics prohibit murder, the guards become enemies of the civ(and may or may not be still loyal to the fort). Now, imagine what happens then.

I actually thought it was: You have one of your squads attack a caravan of your entity, your entity is now an enemy of itself, resulting in a free-for-all battle royal. every body starts killing everyone with the same entity. Fun™ ensues.

How do you get one to become an enemy of the civ or fort? Sounds like some Fun. Perhaps even !!Fun!!

They will run, naked, into the caverns and roll around in whatever nearby filth is available.  Watch for gory explosions.

Everyone dies. But not all that fun after the first time.

Draft them and order them to attack the dwarven diplomat, I think.

It's even more fun in adventure mode, where you can sometimes get a town to implode in a mad orgy of self-destruction.

The learning curve of the df forums should be equal to that of df itself.

Well, if you are a part of a town, and you get an order from a leader in that town to kill someone else in that town (FB leader, your old adventurer who retired there, etc)...

I am sure there are other ways, but this one worked for me. I hear enslaved populations after wars sometimes react in interestng ways.
