You can't get shells from turtles you brought along, because I'm pretty sure you can't bring turtles. Or cave lobsters. You have to fish for them, and hope they're not extinct.

While traveling to find a spot to found a new fortress... our wagon literally fell apart! I guess we will have to start out fortress here, then.

Not much is happening, stuff is getting mined(still) and the farms are being flooded.

Some migrants have arrived. They are probably disappointed; we don't have any bedrooms or a (complete) dining room

What exactly is going on:
Above, I modified the river so it flows into a hole, which goes downwards from the dining room into an cistern or whatever you call it. Then, two screw pumps pump the water out of the cistern back into the river again. There is an occasional minor flooding around the waterfall, but who cares.
Also somehow a kitten got into the river and fell to his(her?) death.

Anyways, I'm going to post the rest of my turn in a bit. I have a question though. When does my turn end? Three days from now? The next year in game time? Or whichever comes first? The first post of this topic is somewhat ambiguous about that.

Yes, but actually I'm considering closing membership and letting it go round and round amongst those involved right now.  Because I'm down with everyone getting (hopefully) more than one turn at it.

we have about 8 people involved right now.  My plan is to go through all of them and then loop, so that Fivex plays again, and proceeds.

I think a few more newbies can jump in, but then we'll just loop through the current group.

3 rl days to play 1 game year.

I'm sure there are other succession games that players play as long as they can during their turn, but I would rather we keep this one to 1 year each.

I updated the top post.  If you finish quickly and want to move it along, drop a note to me and the player next in line and I'll update the schedule.

Ott, I moved you to 4th.  I tried to put it in order of relative newness to the game, and I assumed you were less new than the people above you.  The rest of the list was in somewhat random order.

I find it not fair that someone who asked early has to wait longer. Like if you went to a restaurant and asked for something to eat and then someone else came later and asked for something to eat too. Then that someone who came after you gets his/her food but you are still sitting there waiting even though you were there 1st. It's really sickening!
Here is the order in what I think they should be but it's still your decision: (I swapped fivex and jerm because you both agreed to it.) fivex, jerm, ottottott, bayar, v12us, canalan, goodguy3, tsarwash
