I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Uhm... No... The hunt is a collective sort of thing, you can't have several split hunts in one turn.

Turn 5-1

Disaster roll: 5

Before the hunt, two animal traps are constructed as there isn't enough for the full 6 intended just yet.

The hunt brings (72*6/2=216) food and (72*1/2=36) bones. Absolute extremes there... Oh, and you get an item.

Warhammer of Building:
+6 effectiveness in combat, -3 food requirement when building

With the massive amount of food you just pulled from the wilderness, the other 4 animal traps are constructed.
 Breeding results in two 8s.

Finally, you cast your first troglodyte enhanced spell, Create food. Granting you 150 food for 100 bones.

Turn 5-3

Disaster roll: 3

Another meteor smacks into your poor, poor camp... It kills 5 members.(2,2,4,5,5)

The hunt brings (22*3/2=33) food and (22*1/2=11) bones. And an item.

Constructor's Buckler of Gluttony:
-5 food requirement when building, wearer takes 8 food per turn, but generates 5 bones per turn, +2 effectiveness in defense, +1 effectiveness in attacks, can be used in a guard tower

You cast Create Bone and then immediately raise a skeleton, you need all the boney breeders you can get. You get a 3.

Hunt for food with the 10, 8, 7, 7, 7, 7, and 5 with shield (hunt for food with everyone except 6 5's).
Build 3 bone stockpiles (as food permits) with those 6 5's.
Cast create food, whatever happened with the hunt and building.
Equip the socks on Shakti.
Steal bones from the humans, unless Askot's +20 to thieving artifact would be multiplied by my thieving multiplier, in which case steal that.

Turn 5-4

Disaster roll: 2

Mmm... Nothing like some famine to suck that food right out of your stockpile... lets see... You are in 3rd place on account of base effectiveness, thus you lose 45% of your food. Joy!

No stockpiles are built yet, although they don't really have any effect on the hunt so it doesn't matter right this moment.
The hunt brings (53*3/2=79) food and (53*6/2=159) bones. And an item.

Warhammer of Mastery:
+6 effectiveness in combat, doubles all passive effects of wearer(such as bonuses to effectiveness and sub-leader passive effects)

Two mastery items in the same game... This should be an uncommon occurrence!
Not to mention you have both of them. Put them both on and they will basically give your thief a quadrupling effect.

The three stockpiles are constructed. Giving you a whopping 100 bones off each spell and 4/5th costs on stealing other tribe's members.(I am seriously considering limiting stockpiles to 1 each next game)

You cast create food... for free! Giving you 150 food with no strings attached.

Finally, Shakti has her sights on something awfully valuable in Ashkot's camp...
(1080*3=3240)... Do I even need to roll the defense? No, I don't, Askot's camp only has 82, that doesn't hold a candle!
You get the ninja amulet. Suffice it to say, Shakti is practically unstoppable now.

Wow, crazy luck... but the goblins would eat me before I get to use it.

Maxicaxi, I'll give you the Warhammer of Mastery if you don't attack me on your turn.  I won't get triple or quadruple my passive bonus, so everyone doesn't need to gang up on me, and you get the second best artifact in the game.

Edit: I forgot about kidnapping, but I can only do that once a turn and it uses up my thief's turn, right?  I'd rather steal bones from the town.
