The breeding produces a 8 and two... more 8s. Not bad!

The hunt brings (23*3/2=34) food and (23*1/2=11) bones.

The master thief continues to sit twiddling his thumbs.(seriously, you havn't used him once!)

But his effectiveness would only be 50, which won't do much good against either tribe.

There is a random roll of 1-6 which multiplies his and the target camp's effectiveness. He certainly has a chance of succeeding.

Techno65535
Base CE: 81

Rolan7
Base CE: 46

Uh-oh.

You think it looks bad now, that doesn't even include his goblin *and* warchief bonuses!  Looks like a total of +3 each for his attackers since he has 82 bones.

His effectiveness: the base of 81, plus 3 for each of the 15 members (45), plus his warchief for 15.  Not clear whether the warchief get +3 or just +1, let's say +3.
His total effectiveness: 81+45+18 = 144

I get no warchief bonus since I have <50 bones (I hunted a bare minimum).  I do get my warchief for 15, and a minor benefit from the kick-ass ninja artifact.
My total effectiveness: 46+2+15=63

Python sez... You have an 82% chance of success.  Since casualties inflicted are half your base CE, I'm basically looking at annihilation here.  I think my seven and the warchief survive alone (:

On the other hand!  eclipsetail has an attacking bonus, and an effectiveness of 69.  You don't get the +2 for defending (and I'm behind in CE and have no attack bonus, so you'd be defending against eclipsetail who gets a +2 for attacking).
He'll hit you next turn, and then you'll be sorry (:

You really don't want to attack me, Techno (:

Sure the chance of failure is only 18%... but if you do fail, eclipse's goblins will have (at a guestimate) twice your effectiveness when they attack you.  Again, both of you get bonuses for attack instead of defense.  I get no such attacking bonus.

And if you do succeed, you don't wipe me out.  That leaves eclipse with a pleasant choice.  Does he strike you first, *probably* winning and securing an eventual victory?  Or does he play it safe and finish me off for my thief buckler.  His master thief, with my +20 buckler, has about 170 thieving effectiveness.  He could steal more food than your entire tribe can produce in a turn, or just murder your warchief.

In fact, if you do attack me, I'll save him the trouble and give him the artifact myself (if allowed).  That lets me live another turn, which is better than assured destruction.

Feeling lucky, punk?  (:

I completely forgot about the artifact. Cool stuff.

I'm still planning on just killing your war chief Rolan.

I guess Rolan is angling at an alliance... but to be honest I feel like ganging up on the strongest guy is a really annoying way to win. I've played too many bad games of BoB to forget about that...

Nah, no alliance.  I was just pointing out that both of them are much better at attacking than defending, so really whichever attacks the other first wins.

Could I use my less direct abilities to pull a win from the carnage?  Maybe, maybe not.  But eclipse will win now, just you watch (:

I see.
Actually I guess Techno would want to hit Eclipse really hard now, and utterly demolish you later, as you're not really a threat.
