The breeding results in a pitiful level 2.

The hunt brings (15*2/2=15) food and (15*3/2=22) bones. No item unlike the others.

3 5s breed while the other 2 5s and the 10 go hunting. The 10 wears the ring.

The breeding results in a 6 and a 4.

The 10 puts on the ring, the hunt brings in (20*3/2=30) food and (20*3/2=30) bones. No item.

Techno's pulling ahead, I see.  Nice 10.

One five goes hunting, while everyone else breeds.

The breeding results in two 3s and ... another 3... Yes folks this can happen.

The hunt brings (5*2/2=5) food and (5*1/2=2) bones.

The breeding results in a 2 and a 7
The hunt brings you (28*2/2=28) food and (28*2/2=28) bones. And you get an item...

Hunter's Buckler of the Ninja
+2 effectiveness when hunting, +2 effectiveness in defense, +1 effectiveness in attacks, +20 to thieving actions, can be used in a guard tower

I don't intend any offense, but... it occurs to me that this looks kind of boring...
Eight out of eight actions this round have been "X breed, Y hunt."
I don't know how to fix this, though. Maybe someone will come up with something.

Well, that's what peeps wanted it seemed. I could go right back to the original setup which gave people ridiculous amounts of food and bones. And thus more ability to get things done.
Also, the players this time around havn't been using their abilities to their fullest. (*cough* eclipsetail's master thief *cough*)

Well, the original setup strategy was basically breed like a madman until you get enough dudes to slaughter the other guy. This is... actually about the same.
It would be preferable if the idea was mostly to grow, but there was also enough incentive for warfare that you would engage in it every once in a while, or something like that.
