Excellent, I'll choose Troglodytes led by a Master Thief.
She's Shakti of The Glebe.
Just note, please post this information in the thread if you can help it. There really isn't much point to hiding what you're using.

Awesome...

So we have two Goblins ran by Shamans, one led by a Warchief, a Troglodyte tribe with Shaman, and most interestingly a Trog tribe ran by a Master Thief.

Roll for who begins: (4) Maxicaxi!

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

I really need to find that change for turn 1...

Turn 1-1

The hunt brings... Oh wait, you did 3 hunt 2 breed, not 2 hunt 3 breed... Interesting.
Anyway, (15*3/2=22) food and (15*3/2=22) bones.

Breeding gets you a natural 10. Shame the +1 couldn't take effect, but who's complaining?

With the new method of breeding, it will be 3/2 now instead of 2/3. With 2/3 you get 2 from the breeding, but they will be of a shit level unless rolled bad. with the 3/2 you have a higher chance of getting a good level so more players will look into that method. It will change depending on how much luck the player thinks the dice will give them when it comes to it...

But 2/3 and 3/2 will be the first turns now... or can 1/4 give enough food to not starve... Doubt it...

It's somewhat likely it will actually, 4 breeding on the first turn will consume 15 food(5 for original members, 2 for the new ones, 8 more for breeders). So long as the hunting 5 doesn't get a 1 or 2 on his food roll he'll bring back enough. It's a risky play but could give a strong head start.
And then there is Askot's method using focused hunting. So long as he doesn't get a 1 he's good to go.
Seems I inadvertently made more interesting starting moves possible. However I'll still look into more advanced choices.

Turn 1-2

A lone 5 goes on a hunt for food. (5*6=30) couldn't have hoped for a better result.
The rest of the tribe begins breeding, safe in the knowledge that their food won't run out.
A 10(9) and a 2 are born.

You then cast Create Bone, making up for the lack of gathering for that resource.
