Stand still until the battle is over then continue further in the dungeon.

and for EXP, you must stay in the battle until the battle finishes, then everyone on the winning side gets EXP... equally... non-dependant on actions IN batte...

As the battle finishes up, another noise can be heard, and voices too, "Comon, were almost there!" "Hurry up!" "Oh, GOD!" "Gods wont help you if that thing catches us!" and more... seams like there is a horrendus beast ahead, but you dont really know where it is...

Tilk slices the last rat, slaying it once and for all [-1 Health] Then everyone feels refreshed, and blue runes light up on the walls, illuminating the room, and showing the way to the nearest Encampment Stone.

You loot the rats, everyone gets 3Gp, and Fredrick the 23rd gets a useless strap of leather (not rat), then the corpses fade away, leaving the blood over everything...

Doyll would like to head along into the cave, but would easily get lost without a torch of his own, or a torchbearer accompanying him...

Ochita with his hand-ball of flame [-1 Mana][Sustinence, 1 Mana every turn] and Doyll charge into the cave, they dont find much, but they dont get lost either...

The others more casually stroll along catching up to the two Fredrick the 23rd makes a remarks on how good the Phat Lewt is, everyone smirks...

You dont find much, but then Tilk trips over something..... A CHEST!!!

If everything fails, I open the chest with hits.
There's no need for that.

I cast Summon Kobold, and propel it towards the chest as I order it to untrap, unlock, and open the chest.
