I got into it about 6 ~ 7 years ago, then totally forgot about it. I quoted the **** out of it at the time, but I was like.. 12.

It stopped really being updated regularly a few years ago now, sometime around the same time the first video game was coming aorund in fact..

That's half the fun! The other half is slowly crying yourself to sleep every night as you try to wipe its legendary badness from your psyche, and the only rest you get is in between nightmares about goffs, vampires, preps, gratuitous sex, incredible character derailment, and Marty McFly.

And that brings the conversation right back around to Telltale Games. Anyone else cautiously optimistic to see what they're doing with Back to the Future and Jurassic Park? Pretty sure they'll have trailers for those too at PAX since they are taking a decked out DeLorean to the show.

Telltale games are... mediocre to me

They make consistantly ok adventure games.

This page makes me think a new Texas Hold 'em is coming. The "Coming soon" and the "1" are quite telling.

The first one was an interesting thing, and I'm sure Telltale has made loads of improvements on this one. It'll be fun.

All this collaboration with the companies makes me wonder if one day there'll be a huge "WHOOMP!" sound as Telltale disappears and Valve suddenly comes out with an adventure games division or just loads of people that know how to make them.

Yeah, Strong Bad isn't much good at all. Wallace & Gromit is a bit better, but somewhat lackluster still. I've liked all the Sam & Maxes, Tales of Monkey Island and Puzzle agent though.

I haven't found quite all the sam and max and monkey island installments great but they are great when done well, merely okay when done poorly. I heard Season 3 of S&M is best consistently, so far.

I view all the episodes as one whole game though. The one where Strong Bad takes over Free Country, USA was the highlight of the game...Battle of the Bands was the lowpoint...
