The match begins with a twang as Scabs McStingsalot fires an arrow into the right hand of Mollie. Shrieking about her ruined manicure Mollie lagged well behind the shields of Mr. Pokey the soldier ant woman as the ladies charged in for revenge. Howling at the horrible sound, The Grey Fiend runs off for the other side of the arena.
Teams 1 and 4 start into each other. The humans have the best of it at the opening as they manage to inflict some superficial wounds. Ravus Maniacus proves too skillful and elusive to take a fatal hit from Great Sword, but Melvin is less capable. Turamuthro skewers the goblin on his pike again and again, leaving his chest a gaping hole to the sky as his blood pools out over the arena.
Ravus bravely holds his own but is undone by surprise as The Grey Fiend suddenly clamps unto him. Desperately Ravus chops at the werewolf, but Great Sword takes advantage of the opportunity to cut a leg out from under the dwarf. Snarling, the Dwarf smashes the hip of the werewolf and they both fall. Great Sword and Turamuthro silently nod to eachother, calling a temporary truce. Their inhuman foes are systematically chopped up and run through.
Mr. Pokey and Mollie, having chopped the insolent kobold to bits, survey the battlefield and see that they are the only team still fully intact. With only Mollie's hand hurt, it looks they might have the advantage. The antwoman rushes forward, but Mollie falls further behind, staring at her bleeding hand until she reaches the middle of the arena. Unable to stand it any more, her eyes roll up and she faints dead away.
Their foes finished, Great Sword rushes at Turamuthro, only to bounce off his impenetrable steel armor. Taking advantage, Mr. Pokey stabs Great Sword in the leg from behind. The steel pikeman rushes forward, knocking both of the remaining competitors to the ground. The swordsman is quickly stabbed in the head, and the ant woman has her limbs chopped one by one. Her ichor flows away quickly, bleeding out before a nervestruck Mollie.
Mollie pleads and blubbers, but Turamuthro knows no mercy as he advances upon her blubbering, cowering, cowardly self.
