Hmm, yeah that's probably a good idea. Just give hints as to what everyone is doing, while keeping the specifics secret. Also, reading everyone's theories is amusing. So close, and yet so far.

From this thread, I learned that video cameras have a dangerosity of 60 kiloswords per second.  Thanks again, Mad Max.

I'm not willing to just give away my theories in the thread, but I'll disagree with some things, in the interests of SCIENCE!!! MAGIC!!!

And so it is now I shall tell you what I have learned. The final word Haz means your hand. The first word Tor is for spinning. The middle word Qur is wind. Tell me, friends, what have you learned?
I have studied Tor, and it does not cause spinning.

Ka is the word of health!
No it isn't.

I'll keep most of my spells secret, but, of my more unique ones, I have: one that lets me create an object of clay, one that's great for prospecting, and another that lets me decay wood

As the new mages discuss their findings, several other graduates can be seen nearby, writing in their notebooks.

Yes it does. Take a look at these spell results. All spin.

Hmm.

Oh, yea, and Nil|ols-qur|ta is a great spell. Very useful for ... getting borrowed objects back from friends.

Good to know, but all those spells have both 'Qur' and 'Tor.' You're not using enough variables for your logic.
And you, put that pencil down. You'd have known about logical deduction if you had paid attention to Sir Roderick instead of drawing every class.

Hmm. Revised Meaning: The middle word Qur means around. The sparky hand thing only is around your hand, not spinning. Which means Tor must be energy...
I've found out what the format is!
What is being used|How it is being used|Who/What it is being used on.

SHADOW, I'm going for progress of the magicians as a whole, not for my own gain.

I was pointing out that is was a theory, not knowledge like you claimed earlier. Huge difference.

My 'theory' category does contain theories, but also facts, those that are theories are given a question mark in parenthesis.(Or multiple question marks when I have no F-ing clue what something does, I will admit I have a few of those)

This is totally hilarious, I collapsed in laughter during the spinning part, although the section definition was kinda a letdown. Lets hope you guys are even more hilarious in the future!

Oh, and just because I want people to collapse the academy (I have this evil feeling); nil|tav(ols)|ta allows you to obliterate certain objects.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.
