Spoiler: Dictionary?! (click to show/hide)

After dealing with Tick above I head into my room and begin doing research, although I may leave a couple times for some tests. Before I do, I make an announcement to my class-mates. "Behold! I have fought a swarm of the undead and lived to tell the tale of ash and brimstone!" I tell the story of how I found a closed passageway in the mausoleum and destroyed a powerful spell that was catching foolish peasants and turning them into undead. So the town council's bounty on it has been taken. :]

Edit: Delayed discovery of grammar failure.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

Well, as the majority of the players have vanished, does anyone on the waiting list still want to play? There are 5 schools of magic planned out already, and only one of them is explained in the thread so far.

I would play if we knew what the words did so we just had to fit them together, learning about each word is tedious.

Maybe know 5 complete spells and the meaning behind 6 or 7 words instead of just the spells?

This is exactly what made the game fun for me.

Of course learning every word is tedious. That's because I don't WANT you to totally master the system. Learn it well enough to get by, then go on adventures. There is much more to find out there than any of you know.

Don't be silly! What if I want to be the happy friendly type, who has some secrets, but is always willing to share for the good of the group! Until we all need to repeat the same spell to complete the ritual of ultimate power, and I give everyone else the 'I sacrifice myself to the elder gods' version...

Nah, I'll just have you all start out in different places. And come up with a better incentive not to share.
