Man.  I wish I had the time to do all the cool stuff people do.  But just how much time DO people spend doing that cool stuff?

I guess that time playing DF is a little open to interpretation, because if you're running it in the background while watching movies, is that actually the same as playing it?...  I say that yes, it is, IF you are paying attention, ready to pause or take control when you need to.  Alt-tabbing away counts as playing, but leaving the keyboard for extended periods does not.

And remember, this is "average time spent during a 7-day period where DF play occurs".  If you only play one week a month, count that week, don't average it out across the non-DF voids of the rest of the month.

I've more or less got it running in the background when I'm on my computer, which combined with work usually means around six to eight hours per day.  That means I probably play DF a good 30 hours per week...it's a lifesaver when things get slow around here.

Less than 2 hours, probably only just more than one. The days of sinking several days a week into DF are over, for now, mostly because I simply don't understand a lot of the new stuff and I've never really tried to learn it.

I play 2-4 hours a day for about a week, and then I get sick of Dwarf Fortress for another three weeks. Though I must admit I am in the middle of Dwarf Fortress modding addiction.
