Once again, the door behind the dwarf opened. Captain's Log - Transport Azer

My first military command.  My ship the DTS Azer is a fine vessel. She is only 35 feet long making her a little smaller than my old whaling vessel but she is much sturdier than my rickety old wreck.  She's brand new too, I can still smell the fresh paint.

Our first mission is to transport a group of constructors to the island to the south.  We will be mostly tacking against the wind but this ship has oars so it shouldn't take a long time to arrive.  The cargo manifest shows numerous packs of prospecting equipment as well as equipment for magma workshops.  So it seems to me that there could be a volcano at our destination.

With the recent fighting to the north the higher ups appear to have decided to arm the ship at the last second with a pair of harpoons on the bow.  Hardly a real ship to ship weapon but the ship design left no room to mount a ballista or better yet, one of those high tech cannons being mounted on the large warships still being prepared for sail.  At least it is familiar, I could fire one of those accurately if the situation demanded it, I don't know the first thing about a cannon.

[Impending Doom]

The recon has given us results, we have found a somewhat large group of the humans to the south and I have mobilised the remaining army to intercept.
