++ Survivors Episode 1

Tyu Ceresa, on her way to meet her friends in the park, stumbled upon a mugging in progress.  Too late to stop it, she tried and failed to save the victim.  Before he died, the victim pressed a black stone into Tyu's hands and requested that she delivered it, but died before he could say where.

The gang returned to the scene where the dead man was stripped naked and were interviewed by a couple of guards.  Sven identified a tattoo on the dead man as belonging to a Templar sect.  They then travelled to Old Man Chambers' house for dinner and discussed their findings.  Chambers seemed dreadfully afraid of the stone and promised to explain why, and the nature of Templar involvement, if they would first deliver a message to the Archbishop and fetch a mysterious fire-proof substance called 'as-beistos' from an alchemist named Michaelangelo.

On their way to Michaelangelo they were cornered by hoodlums.  They killed their leader, Clade, when diplomacy failed.  After visiting Michaelangelo and placing an order for asbestos, they proceeded to the Cathedral in progress.  Most stopped in the tavern instead, run by Michaelangelo's brother, Raphael.

As Sven struggled with his master Vicelli and then with Cardinal Boticelli to have the message and the stone delivered to safety, his suspicions began to arouse about both men.

Meanwhile, in the tavern, the rest of the gang spotted smoke in the distance.  They rushed to Chambers' house to find it burning to the ground.  Tyu bravely burst into the house and ran up the stairs amidst the flames, rescuing Chambers from his bed - only to find that the old wizard was already dead, a knife wound gaping in his chest.

Diplomacy didn't simply fail, it was beaten to death with a blunt instrument...

Ummm, how late was I?

I shall be eternally happy. I shall be able to construct elf hunting giant mecha. Which can pour magma.
Urist has been forced to use a friend as fertilizer lately.

But then, life was also easier when I was running around here pretending to be a man, so I guess I should just "man up" and get back to work.

Your liver was slightly nicked.  You'll have recovered enough to function again (full hp) by next session.

Edit:  Also, a little visual aid.

Spoiler: Templar Tattoo (click to show/hide)

Double Edit:  Alright, we've got a 'not willing' vote, so it looks like we're doing this next Friday.

We'll be playing Fridays regardless.  If we can make a second day in a week, great!

It would be nice if we could play twice a week, to satiate my hunger for DnD. Or we could just lengthen our Friday sessions ;o
