Endras, you just created the little shop that wasn't there yesterday. You have no idea how many stories will include that damned thing. Why is it that I see tropes in everything now?

It's not just you thinking in tropes. That's why I made it. Plus I'm trying to get a sphere of secrecy or mystery or something. That's why I only ever show up for a moment, do something magic, and then vanish without any real explanation.

I'm just doing random stuff right now, got no real idea, so I decided to give them timekeeping, for better ordering (more accurate Schedules, which will help in being prepared for the coming battle)

Meh. It's a retroactive excuse really. I only though about it for this act.

There's a whole bunch of spheres I'd like to get my hands on. Which (if any) I'll get should make for a fun evolution of the nascent goddess. Incidently a god of secrets was one of my rejected idea's for a playable god.

Unfortunately getting new spheres happens on the tiniest of my whims.

Yeah, Who besides Forsaken (Who got it because he asked) has a second sphere?

Carma something and Jack. Both are gods of murder and heroes.

And my 2nd sphere is a very narrow one. Zealotry isn't very versatile but oh so cool.

I'd say that it could be used for lots of things.
You can be Zealous about a lot of things.
Like knitting.
Or lighting things on fire.
or warfare.
or lighting things on fire.
or religion.
or lighting... you get my point.

Yes, but in every example you're being Zealous about something. It is a single idea.

Consider my other sphere, Winter. That can encompass many ideas from simple cold to devastating storms to desolation and the ending of the world. Winter can also symbolize the coming of spring and the eternal cycle of life.

Ideally it should be an easy thing to acquire two or three spheres. A single sphere by itself doesn't do much to individualize your god. Two would start making them different, three would start making them unique from other fantasy mythos'. The Lord of Winter with only the sphere of Winter looks like any other winter god from fantasy or mythology. Throw in Zeal and he starts to look pretty different. My goddess will begin with dominion over Earth but right off the bat I'm gunning for Blood too. Personally I would find it hard to stay within the confines of one sphere. I'd like to see the twin lords of Death looking to add new spheres so as to help distinguish between them.

About the Zealous sphere - I wouldn't understimate that. I bet your followers are a LOT harder to convert/corrupt/lose interest than those of other gods... And if you should want to lead them to war they'd probably be a tough nut to crack. But it will come with a price. Too much sleeping, sitting on the fence, ignoring matters might result in bad things happening.

Incidently the Sun goddess is also goddess of Fire so there's another with two sphere's to add to the list.

SHH! Nope the sphere of Zealotry is pretty bland really, no power there.

The wider the sphere, the less good you are in its specializations.

And Forsaken earned his second sphere for being a good player as well.

Just like Jack and Carmanthyre.

I might also want to add that your insinuations appear to be hostile, are my observations correct, or is the Internet simply translating things incorrectly once more?

Also: Getting new spheres, associated animals or sources of power are all also related to your base of followers.
As Demantiae stated correctly, the Lord of Winter does have some very zealous followers. He earned his sphere.

Phera's also got a second sphere, by the way. don't forget about her.
