We should really wrap up that conversation Phera and Kastheen were having (I'll be working on that now, probably get it posted at some point tomorrow).  :P

We can probably just handwave the ~50 years or so as Weird Time Shit; they were up above the clouds and effectively disconnected from the mortal realm anyway.
I still dont really know where the gods 'are' when not taking form as a physical being...

I think I am going to official withdraw from the game. I haven't been active anyway, and I really can't bring myself to real all that stuff to get caught up.

Things like having slave trade boom are actually part of my role, really.
There's also no currency yet.

Lucky you that I wanted them to start trading slaves anyways, I simply forgot about it.

Yeah, I know. But I'd like to RP from the viewpoint of mortals every now and then, and I assumed that, now that they have conquered the surrounding lands, they can easily start enslaving the poor bastards as well. It didn't seem like a very major event to me.
Amparos wouldn't go around and invent/collect more tech for them, especially if he sees them thriving, like now.

And about currency... I know, which is why I kept 'payment' so vague.

Officially, I'm starting to get worried about the Wanderer's expansion with this corruption...

Technically, I can't act on it yet. Which makes it a whole lot harder to stop.

Aww.  Tis always such fun having you to play with, Forsaken.  Ah, well - the Winterlord can slumber...

I say that Jack simply falls into a state of near non-existence, save when he gets woken up around the same time as the Gods do - he's pretty much helpless in those extended reams of time.

A few questions and pressing matters to take care of.. First, of course, comes the most important:

Forsaken,

Having had you as a player was, to put it in one word; agreatexperienceandquitethefactortoimprovethequalityofthegame. Of course, real life goes first. You'll be welcome to return whenever you want, without having to worry about your God.
Slumbering Gods do not die nor instantly fade away. When, not if you return, you'll return to find not just a game, but probably a story to read through (after all, we keep getting new posts). But until then, whether that time will pass to be countable in days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries or millenia, you'll always be welcome.

Forsaken,
Good luck.

I'll play Dordrath and Garoth for you. Gives me two influential characters to continue playing. :P
Also: You can presume Garoth took that mark as well. It's not rune-binding. It's different.

About the influx of new races.. While it won't be that hard for them to catch up on technology with the other races, expect completely new races to be greeted with increasing xenophobia and hostility as time goes on.

A question to either Caesar or Endras (depending) - how are the magi of the Tower supporting themselves?  Do they farm around the Tower, do they trade magic with settlements?  Or do they summon food from the aether?  (Knowing where your food comes from is always important! =D)

They farm around the tower. Imagine monks growing their own food in their garden.

It is fun to play with you all as well, but I feel like I'm doing you a disservice. I don't have time to read the updates right now, much less participate.

It was a lot of fun, yes. I will probably be back eventually. The winter lord will sleep within the pinnacle, watching over his loyal Northren and shielding them from the eyes of the world. Winter will continue.
