“Hello, players, look at your post, now back to mine, now back at your post, now back to mine. Sadly, it isn’t mine, but if it stopped posting while using ladies scented body wash and switched to old spice, it could smell like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a thread with the post your post could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an forum game with two gods in that forum you love. Look again, the gods are now babies. Anything is possible when your post smells like Old Spice and not a lady. I’m in a thread.”

Am I acting like a baby?  Shaq had a very well thought-out reason for trying to commit matricide.

Also, it's a bit of a cliche to take on the role of the 'nihilist' here, but it fits Jack fairly well.  He is literally the embodiment of all the dead who were murdered and of all murderers, so it makes sense for him to be a very angry fellow.  He hates his mum partly because he is an embodiment of hatred and partly because she was the one who 'made him like that'.

The other reason is free will.  Jack is terribly envious of the mortal capacity of free will - but as a God there are some things he is incapable of willing himself to do - e.g. killing the Overgoddess.

Ask me to help when I get back and I will ward the HELL out of that prison. Ritual magic is the kind that gets stronger the more wordy the use is. I'm working on a nice classical mythology-esque ward right now.

Hahah.  Well, this is entirely fair.  I acted in character, and so will you.

Heh heh, no need for fancy prisons when you can chuck them in the Abyss.  :P

You could do that.  In fact, I'm pretty sure any prison you throw Jack in will keep his body, his powers, very nearly everything.

I encourage you to do it!  It totally won't bite you in the arse later!   :D

We should totally lock him in Carmanthyre. Then be idiots and give it back to Silver.

Amparos would be satisfied with exile from the gods. He's a bit of a dick towards mortals like that.

That would pretty much actually be the last thing Jack would want.  He's pretty pissed off with Silver right now for not taking his generous offer.

Death is just waiting, waiting and waiting.

Did I mention he was waiting?
