I'd like to suggest editing previous posts to put in other things you wish to say, instead of double, triple, etc..-posting.

Remember last time we ran into people not noticing the edits because they were further up and you don't get an alert for an edit like you do for a new post (assuming you have it set to notify you)

I think I do, yes.

I belive it does notify you if the most recent post is edited.

At any rate, the thread shows up as having a new post in the forum, but I don't know about e-mail notifications.
