Which you would have had anyway. Harsh winters encourage creatures to murder, wage war and die, anyway.  ;D

You're not creating an entirely new species from scratch here, instead warping one.

So that's not too expensive.
But at the cost of only one act, I still think that that population is far too big.

Maybe ten, at most. Maybe two.

A lot of time will pass after this turn anyways, so they'd grow to quite the population by the start of turn 2.

If a lot of time is passing after this turn, does the seed population matter that much? It's a harsh climate anyway, assume the mortality rate is higher than normal.

10 people wouldn't make a very... stable... breeding pool. 100 is pushing it, but okay over the short term.

I think we're assuming normal animal populations, at the moment, so no.

Yeah caesar think about it. I think at least 100 beings are necessary to avoid incest.

You've got a point there, yes. Of course you could assume that the first of the people would start without genetic defects (except for death by old age). This would make a stable breeding pool, as the same diseases won't get run into the same families all the time.

But yes, it's a harsh environment.

I'll just increase my view on the amount of creatures and things that can be altered with one act. (Atleast for now. One act is worth more right now that it will in the far future, although there'd you get more acts to compensate.)

Let's just keep it abstract. One act makes a stable population of a new species.

In this case, the species is the Northren.

The numbers aren't that important, that was all flavor text. You decide how far they've grown or progressed over turns.

Remember: Wolf's are creatures of winter, which means that this was easier for Forsaken to do. If you think about creating dragons, you'll have two problems:

One: You're a God of death. Creating living beings (even undead beings) doesn't work too well for you.
Two: Dragons are not even creatures that are covered in any way by your sphere, making them even more.. Expensive.

Forsaken: Agreed. I almost forgot about that myself. We don't use numbers. (Most of the time.)

Hmm... not sure how many acts that will cost... I intend for the effect to be pretty minimal, but the flavor is a pretty extensive change.

If the springs aren't that powerful, sure, it could take just one act.

It's a bit.. Undescriptive. Normally the flavor text is longer than the summary of your acts.

Atilliano: You don't have to bold that one. It's not an act to explore the woods. ;)

As an aside, I am playing the Winter Lord with zero metaknowledge. That means currently he doesn't know any other gods exist, and if you don't come meet him or he doesn't notice you doing something then he won't know you exist.
