What Iituem is doing, limiting Shaq, makes me wonder if I'm allowing Akiel to do too much. Letting him know too much, see too much. Is that too much, or is Akiel just powerful?

Akiel's just powerful.  I deliberately limited Jack as a stylistic choice because I want to play him more as a Hero deity than an omniscient, all-powerful entity.  Aside from teleportation and some conjuration abilities, he really can't (or perhaps, doesn't realise he can) do much that a mortal can't do.

Probably.

First, I don't think the northren, who have only just learned that you CAN work metal, would be able to reshape a divine artifact.

Second, if some random guy showed up and demanded they make a golden bucket into a bunch of cups they are very likely to try and kill you rather than help you.
