Open Source/ Freeware Favorites
« on: August 23, 2010, 07:00:08 am »

I've recently gotten into open source/freeware games, and I would be interested in any recommendations from you guys. I currently have; Soldat, Smokin' Guns, The Kuma site, Black shades, Transcendence, Toribash, Scorched 3D, UFO Alien Invasion, Battleships Forever, Assault Cube, and the Battles of Wesnoth. So, any recommendations?

Currently I waste most of my time with Hedgewars and ADOM.

Also, the games from that "Toady" are very good.

We're Bay12er's. If there is a bug, we will find it, exploit it, and make a recursive statue out of it. Just look up Planepacked.

Instead of UFO AI, get UFO: The two sides

It's still in beta, but constantly updated. And it should work without original XCom too :)

Get Sauerbraten it is the newest game by the people that made cube 2. It Assault Cube is also a standalone mod from Cube 1.
If you ever get Sauerbaten find me as Spectr and I can introduce you to some good map makers. :D
