I'm not familiar with most of your mod packs Deon, but can the tile set be pulled out independently of the game play changes? I haven't played RS enough to really feel like I've tapped the bottom of the dev's gameplay....but I do wants your delicious eye candy.

Just do not touch the "data" folder, only "images". You may want to rename some stuff manually though, otherwise you will have machete for golf club and adrenaline/caffeine for pills (and dogs for skeletons :P).

Just tried it and it's very nice, though i think the characters are not really easy to see on some tiles, they could use a bit of darker outlining (like the benelli i was carrying by example that has this outline that makes it easier to notice on the ground) .

Well, I thought it's intentional, but I may work on it a bit more to make them to stand out. I didn't want the "cell shading" look.

Also 1.1 is up, with some nice changes.

I've realized that I forgot to include gameplay tweaks which I thought is an upgrade from the Genesis version.

Deonapocalypse 1.1:
- army rifle magazine increased to 30/30.
- army body armor has 4 protection (was 3).
- dogs' hp and damage increased.
- medicine overhaul (read below).

Medicine overhaul:
* Medkit heals 8 hp and reduces stamina by 8, bad for healing in combat.
* Painkillers (former known as bandages) heal 2 hp and 5 stamina. Good for combat healing. However they cause sleepiness, so don't eat too many, or your brain will require you to sleep. Stacks up to 5/5.
* Adrenaline restores 50 stamina (usually all stamina), but reduces your health by 1. It's not healthy to use it a lot. Stacks up to 5/5.
* Energy drink (former known as blue pills) reduces your stamina by 5, but removes 120 sleepiness penalty. The stamina reduction is caused by bad can design which requires you to apply a lot of strength to open it! :) Stacks up to 5/5.

Most noticeable changes: high level zombies are a bit faster and have more hp, skeletons-> dogs have more hp and bite stronger. It's just more difficult on a general scale, otherwise all common tactics still work.

Is there any way I can just have the dogs and standard zombies, but cut out the whole zombie master group and the neophyte/disciples?

You can mod them to have the same stats and look as normal zombies.

You can get my "genesis classic" version which does not change the game, only adds graphics if you are so interested.

Is it possible to kill a civillian without them starting the fight? Oh, Deon, crossbows are grossly underpowered on your mod.
