A Use for Flight in Combat?
« on: August 21, 2010, 07:43:37 pm »

I was in arena mode playing with a mod when I figured out floating swords can fly.  I figured to fly above the enemy reptile man and go down on top of him, hitting him instead.  He could not attack back, but could counter-attack.

Imagine how a flying archer will decimate melee troops?

Archers mounted on giant eagles.

Good thing those damn Elves never thought of doing that.

One of the toads decided to go for a swim in the moat - presumably because he could path through the moat to my dwarves. He is not charging in, just loitering in the moat.

The toad is having a nice relaxing swim.
The goblin mounted on his back, however, is drowning.
