I've already played Spelunky, Dwarf Fortress, UnReal World, and IVAN/Nethack to death, and this thing can't run anything more demanding than those games.

Does anyone have any games they'd like to share? Preferably low-demanding ones, with no more than 2D graphics.

EDIT: Saint just made me remember, I'm on a 56k/bit connection, so the games can't really be that big. What, in truth, I'm looking for is free, small 2D games. Maybe indie games of some sort?

Anything can run fallout 1 or 2.
However for small games, hmm.
you could play a bunch of flash games from kongregate there's a few gems.
Hm, what was that game that was like 80 kb or something, 800 kb, I frogot.
It was pretty cool, I frogot what it was called, it was a online game with very basic graphics and the weapons shot spheres.

"An Untitled Story" is THE hotel game, IMO.  Knytt Stories and Seiklus are also good.  Part of my recommendations here is that you can play these for little snippets at a time.  They are atmospheric, you can get into them in just a moment, and then you can go to bed and get on with your trip.

They are all 2d games, very low requirements, and pretty darn small downloads really.

I should be busy for quite a while with all these suggestions. Incursion looks really interesting. Also, it's funny you mention caravaneer: I was a HUGE fan of the game for a long time, it's too bad the developer probably isn't going to make a sequel. :/

Seconded, it is a great Fallout-ish flash game and I am glad to have played it.

EDIT: Also, Jorge Arbusto was just the most hilarious hireling.

I'd suggest Doom if you had it, but you likely don't. It's good under any circumstance and thanks to user-made content, has a nigh-endless supply of new levels and st00f.

Seconding this. Having gotten into the Doom modding community recently, there is a lot of great stuff out there and Doom really holds up as a game.

Otherwise, you could download a GBA emulator and a few ROMs to play on it.
