Alrighty then, guess that's off the small list of choices.

Hmm...

Meh. Talk to him while preparing to die horribly.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

I had to think fast. No use sitting there like an idiot, and he probably wouldn't look to kindly upon a congratulation by such a inferior. I faked ignorance for the time being, pretending to be some scared little french man. Luckily I still had my gift of tongues. I put it to good use, using a southern accent. I played the part of the most unlucky tourist in the world.

"W-who was that?" I stammered, pressing back against the wall. My wings screamed in protest of the pressure, but I ignored it.

"That, Little One, was our good friend Saint Peter." He spat out the name in revulsion, particularly the 'saint' bit. I didn't have to mime my shiver.

"He just found out about my lovely new prize, the Duloc Gem. A beautiful, terrible thing that. I would show it to you, but I prefer your ugly face attached. For that matter..." He said, withdrawing his Blight Aura. He strode over to me in a vile swagger. He grabbed my face with one hand and turned it as one would appraise a fruit. I felt my skin blister under his touch, but he kept the Blight from truely destroying me.

Satan spread his wings and laughed. A rockslide came from inside the city. I heard children scream, and then just silence.

"Interesting! Interesting..." His eyes flashed.

"I think, my traitorus friend, I will leave you now. I want to see what a... Being... Such as yourself is capable of." Lucifer said, and with another gust of his wings, he launched himself into low orbit. I felt a gust of foul black air, and heard more survivors scream.

Lucifer laughed, and high up though he was, I could still hear him. He rose higher, higher, fading away against a starless night sky.

All the better to watch the world burn.

This.

I love things like this, things that use christian ideas and stories like a mythology. Same reason I liked Ghost Rider.

Once we reach neutral alignment
I suggest you read the last two updates and the thread's title more closely. We're already completely neutral right now. ::)

I read all the updates, I just didn't pay much attention to our stats/the title for whatever stupid reason.

Try to find a means of gaining a sustained power source from a small group of cultists devoted followers.

I'm not ashamed to say I panicked. I mean, you try having the living embodiment of Evil itself grab your face and breath on you. Let me just state for the record that even as a devil that was entirely unpleasant, matched only by being hurled bodily from heaven by a Seraph.

So I ran. I was able to keep enough of my head to run towards the screams, in hope of saving someone, something. But I still ran, which wasn't a very heroic thing to do. I guess it's fine now.

At the source of the screams I found... Well, I found the source. It wasn't a human, like I thought it was. In fact, it was a demon, having the ever-hating shit kicked out of it by a girl only 30 years old, who had somehow managed to come across some Holy Weapondry. Bloody humans nick everything they can get their hands on in a crisis.

I did take some small pleasure watching this minor demon get a can of whoopass opened on him, but it was over soon enough. This girl doesn't screw around. Which should explain to you exactly why I cursed when she rounded on me with that holy-blade. This was going to take some smooth talking.
