It's still in the planning phase (apparently, they're having trouble with funding).  Be careful Google-ing "belgium cat sterilization".  This thread made it to the second page...  :)

Okay, reading some belgian media, it's a proposition that some sub-comitee made. I'm betting you 20 dollars to ToadyOne that it will never made it to the law phase.

Surely you can think of a country that borders you that does have them...

You can ship them to the Americas and let them all run loose. In about 20 years Belgian becomes synonymous with death by disease, and in a strange twist of fate, America is Disease free again!

magma is an effective method of sterilization.
It renders both the cat infertile as well as kills all the germs living on it.

Though the belgians do like their beer and lavish meals, I thought dwarves were more like scottish immigrants on Iceland. :)
