I had to share this - I showed Failcannon to my friends, and their reaction to the, uh, evocative sign out front was:

"I am Urist, King of Kings.  Look upon my FUCK, ye mighty, and despair!"

Oh god, FailCannon's one year old realtime?  Those poor dwarves and all we've put them through.... Here's to another year of dwarven death and misery!  Uh, i mean... May Failcannon prosper and succeed!

Given this, how many years have passed in-game? Is it a mere 19 as the turn-list would assume?

It's currently the year 536. Substract from that the year we started... I guess that would probably be a nice 500...

Failcannon started in 516, so yours is year 21. Takuanuva(?) and SethCreiyd took two years.

There once was a fort named Failcannon
Whose cascade was featured in fanon
Everyone died
Nobody cried
'Cause the Overseer was too busy laughin'

I suck at limericks. Also it's impossible to rhyme "cannon".

I enjoy the thought that the inhabitants of Graspedseduced, and the citizens of The Sword of Boots, are all so jaded from years of living with an insane, death-worshiping, fetus-smashing, mind-controlling queen that they consider "undead" to actually be a step up.

A demonic apocalypse is easy to miss - blink and it's over! :P

It has to be an ingame blink, a RL blink is too short.

This made me laugh out loud.  Bystanders are now looking at me like I am insane.  Slinking away: in progress.
