After telling the would-be farm miners where to cut through a wall that kept them away from their work, I began examining the latest maps of Failcannon, hoping to find where the adamantine is. Although interrupted by a farmer who told me we were out of seeds (a small consideration, we have much plump helmet in storage) I ran across an elaborate structure. Searching through the Failcannon notes, I found a single notice referring to the central part of the construction, a stairwell.
DEAD DWARF STORAGE.
I'm beginning to think that Failcannon is not as glorious a place as all the dwarves living in it say. If we need something this big for dead dwarf storage... dead dwarf storage... so disrespectful. But then, of course, I'm not a dwarf, I'm a... entity.
Dead dwarf storage. The words have a nice ring to them, I think.

I think we need some more dead dwarf storage. A dwarf ran screaming into my office in the midst of further searches, gabbing something about a ghost.
I shall not bother myself with such petty matters. The ghost can go to Armok's hellpits for all I could care.

In my searches, I've come across a vein of gold that, while mined, is apparently just... sitting there. Not being used. Some pure gold, while not as attuned as adamantine, could be handy in my spells.

Found some silver, still in its vein. Not magically significant enough to bother with. I continue.

Cog Something-Or-Other is under attack from a skeletal horse. He's apparently a miner, and could be valuable. No idea what he was doing out in the open. I ordered one of our three (small) militia squads after the horse. They might kill it, they might not. It matters little in the grand scheme of things.
(OOC: And here I close, 'cause it's late. I have the satisfaction of knowing I actually did an update today.
