I think, its less that they didn't noticed the typo...
And more the fact they probably thought that was what you intended.

This is DF. This forum is where someone types "FTW". One guy sees "For The Win" and another sees "F_ The World", but they are both thinking the same thing. So what if you type gory and meant glory, here in this forum that single 'L' makes no difference... they ARE different words, but HERE, they mean same thing. It's not a typo. A typo is a mistake. You, my friend, said exactly what you meant and everyone understood. So there was no mistake. </charismatic speech>

Actually, yeah, I think poisonous water of doom is better than magma because it won't burn tress (does magma even do that? not sure) The bad thing is that the target's stuff stays there, unlike with magma where it just poofs.

Magma won't burn trees, but we don't really have many trees anyway. During my turn I forgot we were in a savanna because it looked like a sand desert.

Also, the targets' stuff staying there is anti-thief weaponry.

Ahem.

THIS JUST IN: EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN OF A FULLY SELF-POWERED PUMP TO CLEANSE THE OCEAN OF SLIME AND DELIVER IT TO WELLS AND AS WATER TO MUDDY FARMS FAILS SPECTACULARILY, 11 DEAD

LOWER LEVELS CURRENTLY BEING FLOODED WITH GODAWFULLY POISONOUS WATER, STATUS OF FBS UNKNOWN

OVERSEER REPORTED TO BE LAUGHING MANIACALLY

Don't you dare destroy the fortress before my turn comes. Don't you DARE!!

Edit: I decided to fuck the world and dry the ocean of slime permamently, kill the FBs, and make the area recovered into my personal goddamn bedroom.
Cool! I'll be inheriting it when my turn comes! :D

Er.. I.. um... there were kittens I needed to save?

No, I don't know how I managed that either. I take it I'm dead?

If so, requesting Ledi-iii, any profession but with 'likes cats' again.

I MUST SAVE THE KITTENS.

So Ledi's been training the cats into an army of disposable warbeasts?  Why did no-one think of this sooner?!
Hellcannon seemed to be constantly on the verge of death and Levergedon before my turn helped, but ultimately what killed it was Ledi's cat army.

According to this, you were transformed into a hideous mutant abomination.

I just had Ledi magically teleport in and start getting painfully mauled by dogs while secreting frozen extract that looks suspiciously like the coating of the Ocean of Slime. I don't even know what to think of that.

I saw, and...er... can't really explain. Maybe I became a Forgotten Beast? That would have been awesome.

A wild Ledi has appeared! Beware her Crazy Cat Lady ways! She attacks with waves of kittens!

It MIGHT be because I'm loading the map in version .22, but a lot of the tiles are messed up, especially rock and plants. Nevertheless, I'm currently uploading the map.

Add some Points of Interest! I seriously can't make heads or tails of this giant clusterfuck.

Also, here's the captcha code the site gave me when I uploaded it.

The fractal bedroom is still unfinished despite the fact that I deconstructed all beds in existing ones? The dwarves went for a year without beds?  :o

Edit: And seriously, Urist, why did you open up those murky pools on surface? You flooded the space I dug out for axles for pumps :(

Still taking Dwarf requests?
I'd prefer someone useless or absurd.  But I'm not picky.

Done. You get Urdim Rithsazir, one of the last survivors of the raid on forgotten beasts in z -88, a swordmaster with one FB killed. Did I mention he's rotting away or something? No idea what the syndrome is but all body parts are yellow and he's numb, has a fever, and kicks skelasses quite quickly compared to the rest of the militia.

In other news! The works on my bedroom are proceeding well, the cavern sea is recovering from the drainage nicely, and I've filled z -88 with a nice magma/water mix with a bit of obsidian. But mostly magma. FB corpses rotting down there by now. My old quarters are being refitted to some kinda emergency bunker visage, and the fractal bedroom has a new name: "DEAD DWARF STORAGE". It has a nice ring to it. Plus, I've managed to raise the FPS to a 14 from the start point of 9, and I'm counting with all the dwarves running with jobs and massive amounts of flows going around, I expect it to be at ~20 when the ocean stops reflooding.
