Seeing as dwarves apparently give birth instantly, I'd guess that for them, childbirth is either painless or more painful than any of us can imagine.

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.

FailCannon will probably fall long before I get a chance to play, but if you could sign me up anyway, that'd be great.

Judging from the way dwarves don't even stop to give birth, but instead afterwards seek out their child, it's prolly a case of the kid falls out, then the mother thinks "Shit, where's my pregnancy gone?"

Or, you know, time flows too damn fast for us to see the childbirth itself. Toady said that one frame equals four in-game hours, after all.

You seem to be under the illusion that we give a shit about what happens to dwarves who are too dumb to live.

I want to sign for turn! Well, I hope that fortress will survive long enough for it... Anyway, good luck! I will lurking here in shadows, as FailCannon will surely be very embodiment of epicness ;)

And, can I be dorfed? Preferably smithy, but any adult will do. Name of profession - Saboteur.

Bah.  Sorry for the delay between updates.  Life's been pretty busy.

I'll have the next one up on Friday, most likely.

Phew, so this was like a timely Thread Resurrection then? Happy to help.  :D
Homework, it's like the teachers are actively trying to stop you from playing DF (maybe because they value our sanity? Probably not)
