What is it with DuckThatQuacks's dwarves going crazy and murderous? First Ardentdikes, then here.

I'd be wary about dwarfing him in my next community game if it weren't so hilarious and awesome.

Nothing is lost then! It's a new beginning with seven dwarves, to rebuild this zombie hellhole of a fortress! For the fourth time...

@Karakzon - Read the latest post.  There's a whole paragraph about how you died.  I hailed you as a hero of Failcannon.  Use ctrl-F to find your name if you think its too much text to read the whole thing.

Re: Loyalty cascade
How does this work game mechanics-wise?

I figured out the answer while playing with Runesmith. Making an entity a skeleton or zombie makes it an enemy, yet it still belongs to the civilisation and group.  Kill it, and you become an enemy of that.  And then the cascade.

You can order the deaths of merchants and diplomats. Doing so to your own does the same thing.

Catalyst, just a thought;  You might want to check the civilizations of the migrants to make sure they don't stab you in the head the moment they meet you or anything.

They would actually, because his dorf is no longer a member of the civ.

I was deeply amused that Erica the Third is married to That Aussie Guy. He'll soon learn why his mother warned him about that girl...
As for a suggestion to not die horribly: attempt to isolate all the survivors on the interior of the fortress in a smaller section, then start letting migrants in.

Sorry probably no update tonight, real life hijacked me.  On the plus side, there might be an update tomorrow evening when there wasn't going to be one before.

Well lets look at what my dwarf's done - He's avoided the tantrum spiral, helped kill the rebels in the succession war and gotten the mayor branded as a traitor who's probably going to die the moment the migrants get inside - Anyone still think he's not a genius puppetmaster? Or that he actually died?
