Well, y'all should hedge your bets - Have like three people run the turn and whoever finishes and posts a save / write-up first is the canon turn-taker.

That's kinda unfair to those who are late - they played a year that won't play any part in the future of the fortress at all... And the winner might as well just unpause the game and leave it running, not doing anything. And that's not even mentioning the speed of computers...

Mm, I think the current one person per turn is fairest - but maybe even if there's no set limit per turn (with epicness as a prerequisite) maybe try and enforce a checking in every few days or else it's immediately passed to the next person? A long turn with epic happenings - say a siege which plays hell with a computer (but the player keeps in contact every second day or so with "Oh my god goblins ate my dogs") would probably be a lot more acceptable than someone taking the save and wandering off for a week with no contact whatsoever.

So Ledi's been training the cats into an army of disposable warbeasts?  Why did no-one think of this sooner?!
Hellcannon seemed to be constantly on the verge of death and Levergedon before my turn helped, but ultimately what killed it was Ledi's cat army.

I'll PM Wierdsound in a while. Soapalope too, just in case. If neither of them respond by the end of tomorrow, on to Darvi.

Yikes.  I'm hoping it doesn't get to be my turn before I'm able to get my new desktop (ahem, I mean, "the secret project") completed.  I am positive Failcannon would overwhelm this poor little netbook.

I opened up the Unread Replies page and saw that you were the last poster. I got scared. Something about you posting scares me, ever since Failcannon.

Well, "tomorrow" is over apparently.

I'll get the save.

And the aspirin.

On the level below, there is a room with lots of levers. You can't miss it.

Actually, Weirdsound PM'd me with a response yesterday:

Right. Well, I'll read up when I wake up and see what I can do for the fortress.

So you might want to wait a bit.

Catching up on the story so far. Then I'll download the mess.

Edit: Is the May 4th save in the first post the most recent? Or is there some newer one elsewhere in the thread?

That's the most recent one as far as I'm concerned.

Also - another turn I had, another trap gauntlet that's supposedly the most useful thing I left for others. And still nobody smelts those commemorative coins. Asfgdas.

Shoot. Failcannon just chewed up my computer and spit it out. I'm getting 1 or 2 FPS.

I was truly looking forward to my first attempt at running a Succession fort, but I'd be doing you all a disservice and dragging out my turn over a large block of time if I started this today. I'm going to have to pass, guess you wont be getting your extra study time afterall Darvi. Goodluck.

When this bastard falls I'm soooooo getting in line early for Battlefailed III...

Welp, if the fort is still going on by then, mind chalking me up for turn 37? At the rate that people are not doing their turns, It might still be going on by then.
