Ah: This is just a... nominations thread, of sorts.  I was going to throw the results at the bottom of the Signboard or something, since "notable games" fits well with the other crap we have up there.  Links and a little bit of description will be added later, when we have what seems like a more solid list.

I suppose BYOR: Choices and Quantum both need to be removed, in that case, because neither of them finished.

Cybrid will be added.  Thanks for the reminder.

We need some good examples of excellent town games. Day games, specifically, so that people can get a good feel for how town should act.

Hmm... good point.  Can you think of any, Meph?  It looks like we have a lot of really good scum daygames up, but there's not so many where the town really shone.

Not off the top of my head. The Vote mafia games might be a good place to look, since that style game is pretty much all in the Day phase. I know Paranormal has had a few decent ones, but I'd have to trawl through them to find the specifics.

My first Paranormal game I managed to infiltrate the scum team as a townie.

What about the one Near-Mountainous game Dakarian ran, with the dirtybirdy/JTF scumteam?  I seem to remember town being pretty darned spiffy for that one.

The iPick was also pretty good, IIRC.

I'd much rather personally forget that one... :-\  Not exactly a shining moment. :P

Sure, of course.  Just trying to find a game where the town actually did a good job beating the scum ._.

Heehee, Near-Mountainous. Not to toot my own horn, but... *Pulls out Vuvuzela*
No not really. *Puts Vuvuzela away*

I am inclined in my Most Definitely Unbiased Opinion to agree on Near-Mountainous and iPick, though.

Sarcasmish... :P  The town did well.  I think that we can find an example where the town did well but the scum didn't do quite so poorly... :P

... You mean BM I?  The one where I managed to emotional-appeal my way out of everyone's votes, and then Free Beer proceeded to disintegrate the town?

Yeah, that was pretty good :D

Wasn't it 2, or something, where Org was a PWV and fake-claimed doctor?

heheheheh
He did it again.  Unfortunately for him, I was fooled (not least since the flavour is "guardian").

It's not really a scumwin unless webadict has murdered both your partners beforehand.

Personally, I'd say Paranormal 16 was my favourite (other than Bellsounder, of course).  First time I ever call a whole scumteam and they go and convert me in the night :/.
