That's what cages and minecart shotguns are for!  We don't need to control them.  We just need to aim them.

1: Label levers
2: Quantum Stockpiling is ok
3: The original 7 get treated the best. (Hey we should be treated right)
4: Keep a journal like I am, just so who ever is next can pick it up easily.
5: I'm building a dam at the mouth of the canyon, make any progress on it you wish.

Journal of Shorast 'Opirian' Gatelight: 23rd of Timber - 1051 - Late-Autumn

Autumn is passing slower than the previous months, this is just my imagination but it feels true.
After observing the brook for sometime I have noticed that it freezes mid-autumn, we have used this to our advantage to mine the gems out from the brook walls.
I have ordered for two of our animals to be put down so we have some more meat, we still have: 1 cow, a breeding pair of dogs and 3 puppies (caged).
The miners have also dug out additional rooms for the migrants, we are currently waiting on doors.

It seems we have been blessed with merchants, they seemed very grateful for our trade of mugs for some ale, food and an anvil; it is my assumption Mountainhome is running low on drinking implements. The liaison that was sent is an interesting character he seems gruff and to the point and people listen to him, but that may have to do with the mace he constantly keeps on his hip... it seems he is quite the accomplished mace dwarf. I have requested that next year he bring some more alcohol so that cold winters are much more bearable, as well as some additional seeds and some sand, we lack it where we are and we will need glass.

hahaha frozen... :P

there are a couple people signed up...and it would seem that the only quirk we have thus far is that all the people taking a turn have dwarfs named after them.

Yes a simple list would be nice. Opirian did you get the replies from the rest of the other original 6?

Are you planning on Placing links to each of there journal/story entries next to the players name when there turn is up? Make it a bit easier for when someone need to understand what happened before them.

Hey posting to show interest. Could you name the Militia Commander after me? 'Thatdude' would be fine.

Also can you add me to the player list?
