They stated on the forums that they're working on releasing manuals for all of the more recent DLCs (apparently they did them for every DLC up to Horse Lords but stopped there).

Steam's countdown claimed HF would release now, but it seems there's still an hour to go. I am in anguish.

Steam says it's approximately "less than an hour". In my timezone (Yekaterinburg, UTC+5), it's currently 21:07, so I think I'll have to wait until 22:00.

Much less active than I used to be on these forums, but I still visit them on occasion. Will probably resume my activity in full once Dwarf Fortress will be released on Steam.

The patch is out, but no DLC so far.

Still makes sense that they'd release the patch before the DLC...

Anyhow, I've read that this is probably the last expansion that they'll do and there was something about CK3 being a possibility.

Steam's countdown can't actually count properly, you have to add another hour to their countdown.

I'm going to be travelling soon and I'm so glad my trip was delayed a little by weather. I wanted to play CKII on my laptop while travelling but I wasn't going to be able to download the new DLC beforehand. Now I'll be able to play Holy Furry and rule Europe as a great dog emperor.

Holy fury is not out yet, but apparently it has a manual.

Strange, but I shan't complain
Sounds like a well-timed release to increase the hype.

I was going to just wing it anyway, but nice to have a primer of all the features.

Holy Fury is now out, but it hasn't downloaded yet, and yes, I tried restarting Steam.

I restarted for like, the fourth time and it's still not there. Maybe I can force it by running CK2. Or not.

Voidu runs it at 25% (With the code they put on the front page). Couldn't find it at GMG.

Humble Monthly would be 10% off + about a euro to the wallet.

Got it at Voidu.

Someone on the Steam forum said that they tried Steam validate and got it to install that way, trying that method....

Or failing that, the 'switch to beta and back' option.

Oh hey, I notice theres a new experimential UI scale option, maybe I can play at 1280x720 and have some things not go off the edge.

Bah, I can't make the scale smaller :P I can use a bigger resolution anyhow....

Spotted a bug already, the word Yuan isn't placed over the actual Yuan when looking at the map while setting up. Or rather, it looks like the divided empire of Ghengis Khan gets the Yuan label put on there for some reason, but it's just the map label being strange.

I liked that one joke from reddit: "Maybe CK2 development ended a while ago and we all just collectively imagined a DLC that was everything we ever wanted in a feverish dream."
