Have the Dharmic and/or Pagan religions been fleshed out at all since they were added?
No, they don't iterate on DLC.

Yes, particularly Pagans have received a steady stream of minor but enfleshening features as part as the free patch content.

There better be some Old Gods mechanics to this. The Norse are way too two-dimensional right now. The focus seems to be on Christianizing the Norse, not the other way around.

I only play as Pagan, and don't give a flying squirrel about Christian mechanics, nor can I play as anyone else beside the two.

I WILL cleanse the world of Catholicism - me and my Jewish cousins. :P

Not much for the vanilla game setting, but I'm having a ball with After the End. Soon, the Celestial Empire of California will be reborn- from the lands of Baja, to the northern end. United under the Emperor, we will march on the lawless desert lands to east, quash the Christian realms of the South, and lay claim to ancient capital. Such is the great destiny of the Californian race!

I fail to see necessary significance of replacing commas with question marks.

Like, you don't know?  A rising inflection, like, is totally all over California accents, and it's, like, kinda fun to just poke fun at some of their accents, though making fun of valley girl is so totally 90s.

Oh! Is that what that was supposed to be?

I guess we don't get any of that down in San Diego. I'd totally forgotten about the valley girl accent as a thing.

.. I haven't heard people talk like that in CA and I've lived in Sacramento, Fresno, LA and San Diego - practically the breadth of the state. I didn't even know that was a stereotype.

So watching some videos of CK2 to get a feel for it since the learning scenario's... kinda bad, and the tutorial is literally broken and outdated anyway. Succession games seem to be... interesting. Has anyone tried a CK2 succession game on Bay12? Seems a logical step since Dwarf Fortress succession games seem popular. (though, I can understand the limitation of making sure all participants have the same DLC)

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

There's one going on right now.

It has stalled a bit, though.
