It has been known by the scientific community for quite some time that Popes emit a particular type of radiation, often called holyness. Prolonged exposure to it can cause various effects, including, but not limited to, a deep respect and fondness for religious figures.

IIRC, tribal multipliers are applied after every other multiplier. Therefore multiplying, lets say, 1500 into 2250.

Is that generally a thing WAAGHs do, besieging? I would expect Orcs (orks?) to be more an fort-assault kind of crowd.

It certainly could be, CKII is full of things sticking where they shouldn't. For example, if you can entice a liberation revolt, crush it down below siege capacity, and then leave it, you will have an effectively permanent +50 with all vassals.

Orcs are, as a rule, not very patient, but one of the few things that will get their (relative) cooperation is a credible promise of good fighting later. Warhammer Fantasy also has the Black Orcs, which are analogous to Stormboyz in that they are mildly (very, very mildly) ordered and do most of the logistics work.

Nah they don't normally besiege. They were chasing the Dwarven slayers all the way up to their Dorf Fort, and the Slayers just closed their gates and basically waited for the Orcs to lose their patience and realize the Slayers weren't coming out to fight them. At which point they moved on to raid someone else.

As I understand it, Dwarves will be basically sally forth to meet greenskins head on unless the horde is massive, and even then they still sometimes will.
