I kind of fell off this game for a bit after my child-king of Baltic Lithuania accidentally converted to Norse, but now I'm hard-set on restoring the Zoroastrian religion to its former glory, and beyond. However, I don't really know where to go from here. I can't holy war the Saffarids for Birjand, the source of their power, because of those pesky Samanids getting in the way. I have a truce with them, and by the time it ends, the Saffarids will almost certainly have conquered most of Persia. I can't let them grow too powerful, because they will inevitably stomp all over me if I do.

If Tengri reforms it can make them very vulnerable to losing land if you want to expand to the north, although you'll probably need mercs to beat the kingdom that did the reforming.

As to the truce irrc the main penalty will be a relationship malus with the muslims, who probably hate you anyways.  So it SHOULD be fine to break the truce.  Maybe.  I mean you're Zoarastrians so anything you do could result in your defeat.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

Pnx

Interesting

Note the sea zones. I wonder if there's a Suez Canal or if Paradox made the game/AI understand that two separate bodies of water is possible.
I think the Indian map is going to be an entirely separate map to play on. From the teaser it looked like their map ended way short of going to Europe, it probably doesn't even have Egypt on it, I think it ended at Persia or there abouts.

I can see Pakistan on that map.

Considering the CK2 map already ends by the Pakistan border, hard to see why they can't be connected.

This is the CK2 map:

As you can see, India is right there.

If it was a different map I think they would have mentioned it because of all the ranting and raving about how the new provinces will make the game unplayable. I'm also pretty sure I saw a Pdox rep say that the new provinces "would be in the patch" which would be a pretty nonsensical thing to say if they were different maps.

Looks like the same map to me. I mean, I guess the map could cut off just off-screen, but I doubt it. Either way, I'm excited.

Have they spoken about how this will affect how well the game runs? Mine's pretty slow with the map now, I can't imagine what will happen with all of those extra provinces.

They've mentioned that they are working on optimization for this patch as well.

Time to establish the Viking Raj in Bangladesh.

In this world, all Indians will be blond, have blue eyes, and long, braided hair.

Is there any way to encourage your religious head to declare a great holy war? Mr. Moabadan-Moabad seems incredibly reluctant to do so, and I'd really appreciate an excuse to take a kingdom title from the Byzantines.

if you control the pope, i think you can force him to declare a holy war.

with muslims, i think you have to become the religious leader.

I'm a Zoroastrian. The Moabadan-Moabad was once my vassal, but I released him because he hated my guts. I don't remember being able to declare great holy wars.
