They remove the heretic penalty from other religious sects and put it as religious difference. You still get heretic penalty to the other heretic faiths.

A good read but even while knowing the quirks I still think it's an awful succession law.

Pagan feasts are awesome. Especially if you happen to have a bishop or two in the dungeons, as I accidentally discovered when I held a Blot for the first time. Blood for the Blood God Allfather.

I was also pleased during my first Blot. Nothing like a surprise hanging to get the blood flowing. I have found that this is an efficient way to deal with problematic vassals, when you can arrest them for plotting but would otherwise get a penalty for banishment or killing.

Then again I've not checked my opinions after a blot where a vassal was executed. Anyone know if this makes you tyrannosaurusical or not?

Pretty sure it doesn't. Being executed for the GODS! is apparently totally acceptable.
