I think it's a way how the game handles the fertility mechanic. As far as I know it's impossible to get absolute zero so there's always an extremely small chance of a child being spawned. People have reported eunuchs having children before.

Actually, that isn't entirely correct.  At age 45? women automatically are barred from having children...unless she has any sort of variable to fertility (such as being a eunuch or lesbian), in which case she can still have a child.  Unless they fixed it the recent updates.

? I'm not sure if it is age 45.

I saw a 50 year old woman give birth so I'm not sure if there's a certain "grace period" for menopause or if it's a quirk of the fertility system. I can't remember if she had any fertility increasing/decreasing traits although it seems likely she would've.

Tried the demo and it convinced me not to get the game.

It isn't a bad game, in fact this game surprised me in quite a few areas... but it wasn't for me and it uses a point system which I always loathe.

Point system? You mean like the dynasty score at the end? That's completely pointless since it's a sandbox.

The score is how each game is valued.

No, it's an arbitary distinction based on prestige which nobody pays any attention to ever.

Prestiege and piety.

You can look at it that way. However there's no win condition so an arbitrary score at the end really means nothing. The game plays like a sandbox and it's best to think of it as one. I personally don't give a single toss about dynasty scoring at the end since it's hilariously easy to beat even without gaming your dynasty across the map.
It is rather helpful for working out how your dynasty preformed outside of your direct relatives though.

Usually the main way people play is either by roleplaying a character or painting their chosen nation across the map. Dynasty score is rarely taken into calculation and is almost universally ignore in the community.

Probably because Dynasty Score feels so unfulfilling and often outright disconnected from your character. My first ruler had only 20 years and he has so much Prestiege that you would think he would be famos but instead he felt like just some shmo.

What was really the clincher for me was when I checked the Intrigue options and noticed that there was sort of a lack of things to do. I wanted a sort of wide assortment of events. I wanted to SEE what people died of instead of just saying "They died" and sometimes an explanation. It felt like it was missing a few things.

You can't actually do a lot of things from the intrigue screen since I assume it would get too cluttered, instead you have to go to the character screen of the person you want to plot against and do it there. Still, there could be more intrigue possibilities I must agree. Framing people for crimes/heresies would be nice and could make county level play more interesting.

The problem of people dying of "natural causes" all the time at young ages needs to be addressed. I also find it extremely annoying that the way people died isn't fleshed out at all. There's the problem where a lot of deaths are hidden to the player and they're never revealed - even at the resign screen.

Still if you can over those flaws there's some great fun to be had. Different succession laws really shake up the gameplay, not to mention Muslims and soon Republics (in a few hours!).

Mods. In CK2+ you can frame people for heresy. I've done it once or twice before. :P

I think you can also frame them for Treason but I've never tried it.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

I'd love more activities too. I mean chosing between a Feast, a festival, and a hunt? and of those there is very little that will pop up? (I've actually seen all the events in those already)

I've had more exciting things happen in a Legend of the Three Kingdoms games. In that I had a white tiger pop out and I had to fight it!
