You cat get pregnant wherever you're spouses are, though, they work through pollination just like dwarves.

I hate to break this to you, scriver...  Let's just say you won't have the Darth Vader moment with this child.

Heh, took me a second. Also, are you sure? I had my guy away in a different game fighting a war for about a year, no pregnancy, about a month or two after disbanding the levi, babies started flowing.
And ya, can your spouse be unfaithful? I wouldn't put it past this game.

I'm not sure, no. But spouses can be unfaithful, and if you find out, the child will get the 'bastard' trait (I've had that happen to me).

You never know for sure if she likes this bard only for his music...

I am certain. I've had character's crusading in the Holy Land who still got their wife pregnant. I've had spouses ruling a duchy halfway over Europe from mine and still got children. So nothing to worry about there ;)

Do your children have any of your physical traits though? Are they all blond while neither you nor your wife are? Any odd skin tone differences?

Remember back when I was complaining about the faction system being in the DLC?  I formally recind that complaint now that it is being included in the free patch.  Thank you Paradox!

Then again, many of the items in the patch already exist in mods.  So it may be more of a "polish and make official" than actually making something revolutionary.  Still, those are really nice features that I'd like to see incorporated in the main game.

There's a trick to it- raise you weakest levy (You will lead it now,) then raise the rest of you levies and disband the weak, initial one. Voila- you're no longer leading any troops.
You can even keep the levy you lead too. Simply promote the levy you are in to one of the main ones of the army it's in, then continually swap out yourself for a different person until you stop leading a levy.

If you're still leading a levy and not one of the main leaders, and your levy is in an army, then rearrange the army and promote the levy you are in and try again.

Bam, you get to keep the levy and you're safe too.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Another question! Do you HAVE to lead your Demense Levis yourself? I had an ally request aid in a war, but my ruler was getting on in his years and I wanted him at home producing an heir and not dieing, but the war was a good distance away, so I didn't want to send my Vassals Levis, because then they'd hate me.
Can't I assign the duty to someone else (my marshal maybe?).

An aging king raising his Levis is a sort of odd mental picture.

http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?632212-Legacy-of-Rome-Dev-Diary-1

New Dev Diary out talking about factions. Looking really good so far. Only thing I think is missing would be a "status quo" or "pro-liege" faction that a leader could force or bribe vassals into so empires don't implode too quickly.
If you look closely at the pictures you'll also see "beta" faces for a Byzantine portrait DLC. Sadly it doesn't seem to be included in the Legacy of Rome DLC which is a bit of a kick in the guts. Also seems to be no new GUI for the Orthodox countries either.

Oh man, it's going to take a while to figure out this whole claim buisness. What's the difference between a Strong and Weak claim? what do my relatives need to gain claim on my land? What do my family members need so that I can use them to gain claim on other people's lands?
Also, married my son off to some woman from Holland, based mostly on stats. Went through fine, then about a month later I found out he was leaving so his wife could take a seat in a Duchy she just inherited. Now that that leader died, my son is in charge, and his wife had died (he's been through 4 at this point, starting to wonder if he had a hand in the high turnover...) but Holland isn't a vassal? Will it be when he comes of age? Do I have to ask him to be my vassal? How does it work? (I'm in Ireland btw).
