Aw what, I'm back home but the Undead Vikings mod has been supposedly taken down by the author?  Link no work, can't find a new listing or anything...
Any idea what's up with that?

Bear Invasion probably got 'em.

The art assets for the undead came from the Elder Scrolls mod originally, maybe he didn't ask for permission to use it and the Elder Scrolls mod guys got annoyed?

I'm curious how that would lead to the Undead Viking mod being taken down, although I could see the author voluntarily removing it due to complaints.

Elder Scrolls mod guys complain to Steam, Steam checks where the art assets came from, remove mod for using someone else creation without permission? I assume that's allowed.

Probably not what happened of course, much more likely the creator removed it on a whim.

Has anyone had problems launching the game? I can get the loader to start up but when I press play nothing happens.

I had that problem a little while ago, uninstall and reinstall the game, worked for me. Also make sure you aren't using any mods that are incompatible with the current version.

Though there's also apparently some old problem involving flags or something that could cause it to crash on launch. Could be that.

Thanks. Uninstalling and deleting the all the leftover files in the my documents folder fixed it.

I have another question - I have a claim on a neighbouring county but the game isn't letting me declare war on them. Is it because they are my tributary? If so, is there any way for me to get around it?

Being a tributary makes them your ally as I recall, which means you probably have a non-aggression pact. It'll go away once either the leader of the tributary side or your own current character dies and ends the tributary pact.

Mom! Why are you asking me to find you a new husband. I'm seven, I want to play dolls, not matchmaking!

Working on rebuilding the mighty persian empire.
Started as an independent duke in afganistan

Day 6
The abasids declared holy war
In a panic I convert to islam and swear fealty to keep my lands safe from abbib blob. I shall plot their downfall within their ranks!

Year 4
The abbasids have accepted me into their council no one suspects a thing

Fat Arhab guy, fat Arhab guy, skinny white boy with a handle bar mustache, fat arhab, fat arhab
Seriouslly the enitre council looks like fat greasy arhabs. If my concern truelly lied with this empire it will be the health habbits of their council members.

Year 10
With the death of the emperor (and some well placed political mirages) the empire has dissolved in a massive succession war while me and my allys make a claim for our independence!

When listing conditions for actions, what does green asterix mean? I want to steal a province from a little girl, but I don't understand what is preventing me.

There should be various conditions with coloured asterisks in parenthesis besides them. Green means the condition is fulfilled, red means it isn't. Keep in mind some of them are grouped ("one of these must be true" and such).

It seems I got confused about whom I should wage war on, I can't wage war on her directly, only on her liege. Who is also my liege, so I rather don't. I hoped I could convince him to let me take this land or something. Can I?

If you have the same direct liege, you should be able to wage war on her - unless the kingdom's laws forbid it (Crown Authority if you don't have the newest DLC, I don't know if it is the same or different with it). If she has another liege in between herself and the top liege, you should be able to declare war on the intermediate liege (unless laws forbid it).

Depending on culture and religion, you may also need a claim.
