My one Indian game, I wrecked everyone's shit prett handily. Albeit, I did start as the Palas (Buddhist Kingdom up in Bengal) so no liege to worry about. Irritating part about Buddhists is that you can only holy war for a single county at a time, once you get past the Indian religions. And this was before decadence was fixed properly, so the Abbasids were all up in my Pakistan. And then the Seljuks and Mughals showed up.

Once you get two or three of the de jure empires in India, you might as well just quit.

Sure you CAN holy war left, but... its not going to lead to interesting gameplay, that's for sure.

Playing the "After the End" mod (Thanks, MSH. Did you get it working?) and I'm the Queen of the Maritimes, Queen Aurora the Saint, and my vassal is the head of the Confederated Church of Canada.

It's set in an undescribed apocalypse in North America, currently everything East of the Rockies, North of the southern Mexican border, and South of the mid-Quebec/Ontario region.

Lots of pagans and such, like "Rust Cultists" and such, two Invasions (British and Brazilians). It's still nowhere near done and a bit glitchy, but playable.

It says it is not allowed to be played, however the ones on the coast are playable.

It's probably because only coastal duchy+ republics were ever playable. All the mechanics revolve around trading ports.
