I'll give them another 24 hours or so.

Edit: Humaan no longer wishes to play.

Welp, in that case, we have a free governor and hero slot; get 'em while they're hot!

Evergod41 should be getting a character sheet up later today (I hope).

The governor slot is opened to the first player asking for it, who then has 12 hours to get the character sheet and starting information posted.

We have one slot open.

Awrighty den!

Skilled Labourers
Metalsmith: +1 metal weapon making; +1 metal armour making; +1 metal cannon making (This may or may not include firearms)
Leutenant: +2 attack; +1 defence; (and possibly) Leadership [Morale bonus when guarding a populous]
Mine Foreman: +3 with all mining operations

Unskilled Labourers
1 Weaponsmith
1 Armoursmith
15 Miners
10 Farmers
5 Construction Workers
10 (General workers?)(=) (Can I have low level reaserchers? I'd prefer those...)(+) (Also, would a quarry fall under mining? if not then Quarry workers...)(++) (And if none of the previously stated prefessions are possible, wood cutters)(-)

General rating score for favorability of that profession's possibility...

(You can obviously see what kind of playing I'll be doing...)
A few things needing correction:
Character sheet, please.
The starting skills for citizens cannot exceed +1s. The king is keeping his more skilled laborers out of this crazy thing.
An overseer skill is required for educated laborers to pass on bonuses to others.
Only educated laborers may be specialized researchers, although laborers have a small chance of innovating a technology related to their field.
Quarrymen are not miners.

Here are the first two character sheets, along with the rules on travel and major/minor actions. Suggesting revisions is permitted until we start.

Expensive spells may be cast as a ritual, allowing you to cast an average of half of your maximum MP per turn, without paying the MP cost. The first turn will use your current MP, either all of it or as much as the spell requires. They may be cast anywhere, but wandering monsters may interrupt and cause the spell to be lost if they are attempted alone in an unsafe area. As it requires more concentration then a normal spell, it cannot be cast during combat. Finally, rituals have an increased success rate.

Looks good so far; looking forward to the rest of the sheets (and someone taking the last damn hero slot so we can get this show on the road)
