ED: You forgot to add my intelligence bonus
This one might have gotten lost in the edit shuffle.

Looks good so far.

How does hp/mp regeneration work? Constitution/Spirituality per turn? How does resting/not resting affect this?

I'll probably go with this:
In-combat: No HP regen, 1/2 Spi MP regen
Not in-combat: 1/2 Con HP Regen, 1/2 Spi MP regen
Resting: 2x con HP regen, 2x Spi MP regen

For those wondering, base HP is 10+2x Con, while MP is 5+3x spi.

Since nobody else seems interested in signing up, when are we going to get this thing started?

Well, we'll need the governor sheets and Nirur's character to fully comment, though I don't expect huge changes in opinion.

It's not dead, but I don't have much time this weekend. I'll try to finish the character sheets on Monday.

Hopefully, time won't be at a premium for much longer, but you've got to do what you've got to do.

Just don't let this die, I'm sure most of us have been looking forward to it for a while.  :P

It's coming. Your characeters are up, but I'll be re-balancing spells before we start, probably tomorrow.

Teams:
Evergod 41 rules over:
 Wolfchild the offensive mage
 Errol the utility mage
 Jiharo the Enchanter/Mechanics mage

Knight Otu rules over:
 Kilakan the Barbarian
 Hailfire the Alchemist/Utility mage
 Nirur the Blood Mage/Necromancer

I'll be replaced eventually, by somebody with a new character. Until then, I'll use a temporary hero to fill in the spot.

On concentration - I take it that I cast the spell, have 5/17 mp left, then at beginning of the next turn (or maybe when I cast the spell), I need to decide whether I want to concentrate on the spell, temporarily leaving me with 5/14 mp, plus whatever regeneration happened (that is, the next turn I won't have 5/11 mp). Once I stop concentrating, I'll go back to the normal maximum mp of 17 (at the beginning of the next turn?), and up to 14 actual mp. Sort of a continual drain of mp.

Is concentration a major/minor/no action?

Yes. One summon will leave you at 14 max MP, the second will leave you at 11 max MP, and so on. It doesn't matter how many turns pass, you'll still have 11 max MP with the two summons.

Deciding whether or not to concentrate on maintaining a creature is a free action. I'll automatically assume that you're concentrating on them, unless you say otherwise. Most creatures will simply cease to exist if you stop concentrating on them.

This should be a nice, fairly versatile system for determining how many summoned creatures you may have. As you level up, increasing your max MP, you'll be able to control more or creatures.

Mostly, but you need to take a third disadvantage.
Are you sure you want such adventurer-unfriendly spells?

I thought you said we could have one two point advantage (what he has).
I also think he could be insanely powerful in a fight with a bit of preparation, or as he gets more powerful (aka earth hand 2.0:Crush someone to a pulp.)  But just my 2 cents.

Craziness. I remember posting no such thing, yet I clearly posted it. I'll stick to what I originally said.

Sure, he could learn powerful spells later, but he could also have more powerful spells now.
Plus, I'm not quite sure what good two 'rain' spells would do, other then possibly making bandits easier to sneak up on or to improve crop yields.
