I'd hoped the Arkham DRM would be a beacon of light to focus on delaying hackers rather than making a system so convoluted that the consumer suffers instead of the pirate.
It only works when it's the first time they see that, but then again, it gets cracked on the next day(s). As for patches, they are cracked as soon as they come out and most scene folk release them on the same day.

Really, there's nothing anyone can do to stop our... Hm... Freedom.

Arkham has my favorite DRM of all time. "Pirates can't jump" is way better than "pirates don't have to bother with DRM inconvenience." I think the whole DRM thing is a bit overblown on both sides right now, and that kind of protection is exactly where we should be headed.

I had a problem with Batman once. He said I couldn't play with the bat signal any more after that.

That made my computer lock up at random for no reason and took me a while to figure out what it was and that it was Batman:AA that installed it. Only reason why that game never saw my money. Cause otherwise, It's a great game.

I don't understand why Batman would come to your home and install things on your computer. I assume you called the police?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

That's because it's intended to make you want the full game.

Batman was angry because his cape stopped working. He was only taking out his batrage.

Nothing. It ran fine after I uninstalled it. It installs the amd dual core optimizer driver... Except it was absolutely not compatible with my cpu and I already had a driver specifically for my cpu. It was really annoying because the lockups were so random and so far apart, I thought my computer was dying or that I had memory issues. That really pissed me off.

Has it occurred to you that may have been added by whoever cracked it?

It did cross my mind. But I realized, people who crack games aren't assholes. They're the opposite of assholes. So I went and checked forums and yes, it's part of the game's default installation. It tries to install that even on intel CPUs.
