Mostly Player Run Real Time Role Playing Game

You are in a rocky area, correct. I have done a small amount of research on knapping and have found that it looks to take about fifteen minutes to make a sharp blade. You are, however, inexperienced at it and as such will have to try several times. You will also have to make the handle and attach the tip to it, totalling at about an hour and a half. Yeah, I just realised that that one was entirely out, I'll tweak it.

I was just planning on using the knapped rock to shave the staff, also I accounted for the lack of skill

Start working on a wooden weapon. Get some rocks that can be knapped, and practice knapping untill you get a good blade, then look for a straight stiff pole-like stick, and shave off all the branches.

I had no means of using the rock after shaving staff, or means of carrying it.

Ninja talk: why did you add that to your sig?

Try to make a large shelter out of branches. I search for a place where it would be safe.

Could you please give a description of how you plan to do this. Also, where do you plan to go to be safe? the forest? the mountains?

I was thinking the forest, under some trees so the rain won't knock it down. Maybe kind of far from the mountains incase some rocks fall. Now that I think of it, maybe a short rock wall just wide enough for two people to lay down in. Also around tall enough so we would have to get on our knees and crawl in. Then cover the top with branches.

Guys, just as a note; roleplaying would be cool, so could you try and gice a little description of your action?

eg. Paul searches the eastern forests for a suitable home. After much searching he finds a small cave protruding out from the ground that he hopes to set up camp in. He starts to build a small fire just inside the cave with vines and sticks from the surrounding forest.
