As a suggestion topic creator

Right before your creature goes to the Tribe phase you need to remove as much unneeded body parts as possible. Trust me it helps a lot for making your creature look awsome later.

Though I am pretty good with accessories... >_>

Spore is a great game, but it could have been better. I was going to do a spore LP myself, but i'll put what I was thinking of doing over here, instead. will we get to help choose the morphology of our oddly cute monsters as well?

As for the morphology, back when Spore was new, some guys did some great dwarves with the creature creator, using wings as beard.

I don't know... You can make MUCH better beards in the space and city phase then the wings. So I'd think you should remove the wing beards once you go tribal (or rather right before tribal) for the extra complexity.

No honestly... take it from me a MASTER of hair (just check my Spore Page...) you can make awsome... and I mean... AWSOME hair using just the pony tails in the space phase.

This looks good: a few tips though - capitalizing your sentences will make everything look more professional and nice, which will also attract more people to your LP. Also, I plan to be watching this, but could you use the [ img] tags for pictures? It just makes it a lot easier for the readers. Other than that, though, I don't think we should do Dorfs. I mean come on, be more imaginative, people!
